I've wanted to work with animals since  was 5 years old. At the age of 11, I started volunteering for a local animal shelter. In high school, I chose a vet clinic for my co-op, and college? You guessed it. Animal studies, specifically in the veterinary field. I do need to say however, the most inspiration to opening up my own kennel is because of the late Kathleen Blundell. My old boss at Cedar valley pet resort, and founder of Homeward Bound Rescue. Working with her made me realized THIS is what I want to do every single day. Who wouldn't want a day full of playing with dogs and getting slobbery kisses? After her sudden passing, with deep heart break, I left the kennel and moved on to pursue my own dreams. Dogs are what I love, my passion and my happiness. Yours will be treated like one of my own and that's a promise I can make to every single one of my customers.
